Collins, MO (May 31, 2022) – One man has lost his life following a motorcycle accident in St Clair County. At around 6 p.m., on May 28, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Missouri State Route 13.
Reports from authorities show that 63-year-old Terry Hirschy was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson across the northbound side of Missouri State Route 13. For unknown reasons, he became involved in a collision with a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck. Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Ford, 72-year-old William Orfield, was not injured in the accident.
Hirschy suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
