Garden City, MO – Three Injured in MVA on MO-7 near Sycamore Grove Rd

Garden City, MO (May 6, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Thursday evening in Cass County left several people injured, according to local authorities. Just after 4 p.m., on May 5, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Missouri State Highway 7.

Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2015 Ford Fusion and a 2007 GMC pickup truck glided on Missouri State Highway 7 just north of Sycamore Grove Road. The impact of the crash of both vehicles with significant damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.

A total of three people involved in the accident were treated for injuries at the scene. The injured parties were identified as 20-year-old Cameron Moore, 36-year-old Justin Sneed, and 70-year-old Howard Long.

Sneed was transported to Cass regional hospital by EMS. Long was transported to Research Hospital of Kansas City by life flight.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
