Greensburg, MO (May 7, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Knox County on Friday left one woman injured. At around 2:30 p.m., on May 6, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Route C.
Reports provided by Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a collision between a 2021 GMC Terrain and a 2016 Nissan Rogue occurred on Route C just west of Greensburg. Authorities state that the GMC attempted to make a left turn in front of the Nissan when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Nissan, 28-year-old Jessica Johnson, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center by Knox County ambulance for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
