Jefferson, MO (May 19, 2022) – An automobile accident reported in Jefferson on Sunday evening has taken the life of one woman while leaving two other people seriously injured. At around 4:45 p.m., on May 15, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to an auto accident on Highway thirty.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Highway 30. At the same time, a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling southbound on Old Gravois Road.
As both vehicles approached the intersection, they became involved in a collision. The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze, 83-year-old Patricia Hemenway, and two people inside the Silverado, 45-year-old Cody Tobben and 46-year-old Amanda Tobben, were all injured in the accident. The three victims were transported by North Jefferson County Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South.
Authorities confirmed that Hemenway passed away from her injuries after arriving.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
