Kansas City, MO (May 22, 2022) – A crash reported in the Kansas City area on Thursday afternoon left one woman injured. Just after 3 p.m., on May 19, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 29.
Reports provided by MSHP Trooper JR Boydston show that a collision between a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 29 in the area near mile marker 9. Both vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the crash and had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 74-year-old Sharon Wade suffered injuries as a result of the accident.
At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
