Lake Creek Township, MO (May 6, 2022) – A major coercion reporting in Saline County of three people injured early Thursday morning. Just after 12:30 a.m., on May 5, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a crash on Highway 65.
Preliminary investigations provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2016 Nissan was involved in a collision on Highway 65 just south of 110th Road. The vehicle ran off the roadway and struck an embankment. The Nissan was totaled as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
Three people in the vehicle were injured. EMS rendered aid to the victims on site they were identified as 21-year-old Ariel Ochoa, 21-year-old Katelyn Weaver, and 23-year-old Xiana Koehlerturner. All three victims were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
