Montgomery, MO (May 21, 2022) – A total of three people were left injured as a result of a two-vehicle collision in Montgomery. At around 10:10 p.m., on May 17, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 70.
According to reports, a collision between a Subaru Forester and a 2014 Freightliner took place on the westbound side of Interstate 70 in the area near mile marker 175.6. The Subaru was totaled as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
Three people inside the Subaru were injured. EMS transported 21-year-old Nicolas Simmons, 24-year-old Caitlyn McAllister and 66-year-old Mitchell McAllister to University Hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
