Newburg, MO (May 26, 2022) – One man was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Pulaski County on Wednesday afternoon, May 25. At around 12:50 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 44.
Reports from MSHP Trooper AC Phillips indicate that a 2017 Mercedes van and a 2006 Pontiac Torrent were changing lanes on Interstate 44 just 1.5 miles east of St Robert. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided. The Pontiac was then struck by a 2001 Freightliner.
One person involved in the crash was injured. Pulaski County Ambulance transported 54-year-old John Perrine to Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
