Rosendale, MO (May 20, 2022) – Authorities were dispatched to the site of a motor vehicle accident in Andrew County that left two men injured. At around 5:25 p.m., on May 17, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to a crash that took place on County Road 179.
Reports provided by MSHP Cpl C M Dollard indicate that a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2017 Dodge Charger on the southbound side of County Road 179 at County Road 177. As a result, the two vehicles collided. Both cars were totaled as a result of the crash and had to be towed from the scene.
Two people involved in the accident were injured. Andrew County EMS transported twenty-one-year-old Logan Hughes to Mosaic Maryvale Hospital. The second victim, fifty-one-year-old Tommy Hudson, was transported to Mosaic St. Joseph for care.
At this time, investigations to determine the cause of the crash are underway.
Our thoughts are with Logan Hughes and Tommy Hudson at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
