Savannah, MO (May 30, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident took place in the Savannah area that left one man injured. At around 510 p.m., on May 26, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on US Highway 71.

Reports provided by authorities show that a 2003 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck and a 2009 Chevrolet 3500 pickup truck were involved in a collision on the southbound side of US Highway 71 just south of Route T. The incident left the 1500 totaled, requiring it to be towed from the scene.

The driver of the truck, 32-year-old Craig Courtney, was treated for injuries at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
