Sherman Township, MO (May 21, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident that took place in Clinton County has left two people injured. At around 10:15 p.m., on May 17, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Interstate 35.
Reports provided by Missouri State Highway Patrol Cpl. DA Landi show that a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado were both traveling northbound on Interstate 35. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided near mile marker 38.4. The impact of the crash caused the 2002 Chevrolet to travel off the east side of the roadway and overturned several times. The driver of the vehicle was ejected.
Two people involved in the accident were injured. Tri-County EMS transported 55-year-old Steven Jordan to Liberty Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. A second victim, 27-year-old Dakota Davis, was transported by Holts EMS to Mosaic St. Joseph Hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Steven Jordan and Dakota Davis at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
