St Francois, MO (May 8, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in St Francois has claimed one man’s life. At around 10:42 a.m., on May 1, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a crash on Canterberry Road.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2017 Buick Encore was traveling northbound on US Highway 67. For unknown reasons, the vehicle struck a pedestrian just south of Canterberry Road.
The pedestrian, who was identified as 50-year-old James Keck, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
