Car Accidents in Missouri
When people are involved in automobile accidents, they often suffer from severe injuries that demand emergency medical care. Quite often, we see people in our state left with spinal cord injuries, internal organ damage, and other severe injuries that not only require immediate attention but long-term as well.
The unfortunate truth is that more than 5400 people are injured in motor vehicle accidents every month in our state. These incidents add up to tens of thousands of people suffering from severe and life-altering injuries due to collisions. In many cases, people are hurt in accidents due to the negligence of other drivers sharing the road. Some of the most common attributing factors in auto accidents in Missouri include:
- drivers who are under the influence of alcohol
- drivers who are speeding
- drivers who fail to yield the right of way to other people sharing the road
