Warren, MO (May 25, 2022) – One woman was transported to a local hospital as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Warren County. Just before 2:45 p.m., on May 22, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 70.

Reports provided by authorities show that a 2021 Chevrolet Camaro was traveling on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 when the vehicle approached a congested traffic area. As the Camaro slowed down, it was rear-ended by a 2020 Ram ProMaster 1500 near mile marker 190.4.

Authorities close off a portion of the roadway as they work to clear the scene.

A passenger in the Camaro, 33-year-old Lawanda Dobbs, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported by Abbot EMS to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis for medical care.

At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
