Cameron, MO (November 14, 2022) – A traffic accident occurred in Cameron that resulted in injuries for a man and a woman. At around seven p.m., November 13, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on US Highway 36.
According to reports, a 2002 Jeep liberty in a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe were both traveling east on US Highway 36. As the Chevrolet stopped for a red light, it was rear-ended by the Jeep. Both vehicles were severely damaged as a result of the crash.
Two people suffered injuries due to the crash. EMS transported 53-year-old Paula Pirruccello of Cape Coral, Florida, to Liberty Hospital, where she underwent treatment. The second victim, 20-year-old Cole Gripka of Weatherby, Missouri, was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center for care.
The crash remains under investigation.
