Car Accidents in Missouri
Every year, vehicle collisions take place here in Missouri that result in devastating injuries for those involved. We see countless people left with traumatic brain injuries, broken bones, and internal organ injuries following accidents. Regrettably, there are several types of accidents that take place here in Missouri. One of the most common and devastating types of collisions is the rear-end crash.
There are many reasons why rear-end accidents happen in our state. One of the most common causes of rear-end accidents is vehicles following too closely to the cars ahead. If a vehicle stops suddenly, it is important that any vehicle following behind is able to stop in order to avoid a collision. Drivers who are tailgating are often unable to do so.
Other causes of rear-end accidents include distracted driving, such as texting or talking on the phone. Weather conditions, such as rain or snow, are also common factors in these types of accidents. Finally, we see many rear-end collisions take place as a result of drivers who are driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
If you were hurt as a result of a rear-end accident, it is important to remain calm at the scene of the crash and contact the police.
