Centerview Township, MO (November 20, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Johnson County that left three people injured. At around 3:40 p.m., on November 18, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash occurred on Route M.
According to preliminary investigations, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado crashed into the rear of the 2022 Hyundai Elantra. The impact of the crash caused the Hyundai to strike the rear of a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo near the intersection of Route M and US Highway 50.
The crash resulted in debris striking a 2019 Ford Expedition.
Three people suffered injuries due to the crash. Two of the victims, 18-year-old Jayci Stowe and 58-year-old Richard Kelleher were both transported to Western Missouri Medical Center, where they underwent further treatment for their injuries. The third victim, 33-year-old Christopher Culp, was transported to Rit’sesearch Medical Center, for the treatment of serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
