Car Accidents in Missouri
A traffic crash can change your life forever. Unfortunately, tens of thousands of people in our state are left with serious injuries as a result of collisions every year. Many accidents that take place here in Missouri are preventable. We see many people harmed as a result of negligent and careless drivers.
One of the most common causes of car wrecks in Missouri is failure to yield. When a driver fails to yield, they are usually either switching lanes in a reckless manner or engage in aggressive driving actions. Both of these actions can lead to serious accidents.
Switching lanes in a reckless manner is when a driver abruptly changes lanes without properly signaling or checking their blind spot. This can easily cause a collision, especially if another driver is not expecting it. Aggressive driving is when a driver travels to closely, speeds, cuts off other drivers, or weaves between lanes of travel. This type of driving creates an unsafe environment on the road and can easily lead to an accident.
If you are involved in an accident caused by another driver’s careless or reckless driving, you may be entitled to compensation for your damages. A Fredericktown car accident lawyer can help you understand your legal rights and the options that are available to you.
