Fredericktown, MO (November 7, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in Madison County that resulted in injuries. At around 11:55 a.m., on November 6, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crashing Missouri State Route 72.
According to reports, a 2006 Ford 500 was slowing to make a right turn on Missouri State Route 72 just one mile east of Fredericktown, Missouri. For unknown reasons, it was struck in the rear by a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. Both vehicles were moderately damaged as a result of the crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 18-year-old Shelby Massey, suffered injuries in the accident. She was transported by ambulance to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown, Missouri, where she underwent medical care.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
