Garden City, MO (November 8, 2022) – A crash took place in Cass County that left two people injured. On November 6, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to a traffic accident on Missouri State Route 7.
According to reports, at around 9:30 a.m., a cross between a 2023 Chevrolet traverse and a 2004 Cadillac Escalade took place on the northbound side of Missouri State Route seven at the intersection of Sycamore Grove Road. The impact of the collision caused the Chevrolet to rotate and come to arrest in the second lane. The Cadillac went off the right side of the roadway. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash.
Two people in the Chevrolet, 68-year-old Peggy Lambert and 70-year-old Margaret Sorrensen, both suffered injuries in the crash. The two victims were transported to Belton Regional Medical Center, where they underwent further medical care.
The circumstances surrounding the traffic accident are under investigation.
