Hazel Hill Township, MO (November 3, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Johnson County that left one man seriously injured. On November 2, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Missouri State Route 13.

According to local law enforcement, just after 6 a.m., a collision between a 2014 Ford Focus and a 2014 Kenworth tractor-trailer took place on Missouri State Route 13 at the intersection of Northwest 1000th Road. The Ford was totaled as a result of the accident.

The driver of the Ford, 29-year-old Alec Tabor of Warrensburg, Missouri, suffered serious injuries in the crash. He was transported to Centerpoint Hospital, where he underwent emergency treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
