Highlandville, MO (November 29, 2022) – An 18-year-old woman from Highlandville, Missouri, was left injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place in Christian County. At around five a.m., on November 28, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on US Highway 160.
According to reports, the driver of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado attempted to turn southbound and collided with a 2004 Toyota Corolla on US Highway 160 at the intersection of Route EE. Both vehicles were severely damaged as a result of the crash.
The driver of the Toyota, 18-year-old Vanessa Ellingsworth of Highlandville, Missouri, suffered injuries in the crash. She was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, for the treatment of injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
