Jane, MO – Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 71 near Mercy Dr Leaves One Injured

Jane, MO (November 10, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in McDonald County that left one person injured. At around 11:20 a.m., on November 8, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a traffic accident on Highway 71.

Reports from MSHP show that a 1999 Ford Expedition and a 2001 Dodge 1500 pickup truck collided on Highway 71 in the area near Mercy Drive. Investigations determined that the driver of the Ford ran a red light and crashed into the Dodge. The incident left both vehicles with extensive damage.

The driver of the Dodge, 61-year-old James Ramsey of Bella Vista, Arkansas, sustained injuries in the crash. He was transported to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas, for further care.

The incident remains under investigation by MSHP at this time.
