Jefferson, MO (November 7, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in Jefferson County claimed the life of one female on Saturday evening. Just after 10:20 p.m., on November 5, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash that occurred on Missouri State Route 30.
According to law enforcement, a 1998 Honda accord was traveling westbound on Missouri State Route 30. For unknown reasons, the Honda struck a 39-year-old female pedestrian just west of Wolf Street.
The pedestrian, 39-year-old Amanda Oberfeld of Fenton, Missouri, suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene due to her injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
