Jonesburg, MO (November 29, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Montgomery County that sent one man to an area hospital with injuries. At around 855 p.m., November 27, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash occurred on South Outer Road.

According to reports provided by law enforcement, 51-year-old LaSean Smith of St. Louis, Missouri, was struck by a vehicle on the westbound side of South Outer Road near Interstate 70 east. The vehicle that struck him, the 2019 Nissan Rogue, remained at the scene.

Smith was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, where he underwent emergency care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
