Car Accidents in Missouri

Kidder, MO – Tracy Connell & Sonja Schaefermeyer Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on US-36 near Highway JA traffic collision contained your life forever. Unfortunately, we see countless people hospitalized every single day in our state as a result of traffic collisions. When innocent people are left with debilitating and life-changing injuries as a result of crashes, they often require extensive medical care. Unfortunately, many accidents are a result of negligence. Leading factors in crashes in our state include:

  • Speeding: It’s important to always obey the posted speed limits, even if you feel like you can drive faster. Remember that the posted speed limit is the maximum speed you should be going under ideal conditions. If there’s any traffic, bad weather, or other hazards present, you should be driving even slower.
  • Failing to yield: When you’re making a turn, changing lanes, or merging onto a highway, you need to make sure that it’s safe to do so before proceeding. Always look for oncoming traffic and yield the right-of-way when necessary.
  • Distracted driving is becoming increasingly common as more people use their phones while behind the wheel. Even just a few seconds of distraction can lead to an accident, so it’s important to put your phone away and focus on driving when you’re behind the wheel.
  • Fatigued driving: If you’re feeling tired, take a break! It’s not worth risking your life (and the lives of others) by trying to push through when you’re exhausted.
