Lee’s Summit, MO – Steven Prettyman Injured in Pedestrian Crash on US-50 near Harris Rd

Lee’s Summit, MO (November 15, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Jackson County that left one man with significant injuries. Calls for help were received by the Missouri State Highway Patrol regarding a crash that took place on US Highway 50 on November 13.

At around 545 p.m., the 60-year-old Steven Prettyman of Lone Jack, Missouri, was removing a dead deer out of the roadway on US Highway 50 near Harris Road when he was struck by a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck.

Prettyman suffered significant injuries due to the crash. He was transported by southern Jackson County EMS to Research Medical Center, where he was treated for his injuries by medical professionals.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash at this time.
