Car Accidents in Missouri
A traffic accident can have a very negative impact on your life. This is especially true if you have suffered severe injuries due to your accident. Regrettably, this is the fate of thousands of people in our state every year.
Drivers who run red lights are a common factor in serious crashes across our state every day. We constantly see drivers choose to ignore red lights and barrel through intersections, often without slowing down or yielding to oncoming traffic. This reckless behavior not only puts themselves at risk, but can devastate the lives of others
In addition to running red lights, another common cause of car accidents is switching lanes recklessly. This is often seen on highways when drivers are trying to get around slower traffic. They will weave in and out of lanes, often cutting off other drivers in the process. This type of aggressive driving can easily lead to an accident, especially if the driver is not paying attention to their surroundings.
Finally, impairment is another major contributing factor to traffic collisions in our state. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs slows reaction times and impairs judgement, making it more difficult for drivers to make split-second decisions. This can easily lead to an accident, especially if the driver is speeding or weaving in and out of traffic.
