Lincoln, MO (November 23, 2022) – Authorities in Lincoln County were called to the site of a traffic accident on Tuesday evening that left two people injured. On November 22, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified that a crash occurred on Route W that required attention.
Authorities rushed to the scene of the accident and blocked off the intersection of Route W and Route V.
According to preliminary investigations, at around 455 p.m., a 2011 Ford F1 50 pickup truck was traveling southbound on Route W. At the same time, a 2011 Buick lacrosse was traveling eastbound on Route V. As the two drivers approached the intersection, the driver of the Buick failed to yield the right-of-way. As a result, the front of the Buick struck the driver’s side of the Ford. Both vehicles were significantly damaged.
Two people in the Ford, 31-year-old Beau Brown and a 5-year-old boy, were both injured in the crash. The two victims were transported by Lincoln County ambulance District to SSM Health at St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, where they underwent further care.
Emergency crews are currently investigating the crash.
