Car Accidents in Missouri
Each year, traffic accidents in the state of Missouri lay tens of thousands of people harmed. Unfortunately, there are many people who are hurt as a result of rear-end accidents. One of the most common causes of rear-end collisions in our state is following too closely to the vehicle in front. This leaves little to no room for error if the car in front suddenly slows down or stops.
Another common cause of rear-end accidents is distracted driving. Texting, talking on the phone, eating or drinking, and even daydreaming can all lead to rear-end collisions.
Weather conditions can also play a role in rear-end accidents. Slick roads make it harder to stop quickly, and visibility may be reduced due to rain, snow, or fog. These conditions require extra caution and leave little room for error.
Of course, there are other potential causes of rear-end accidents as well, such as mechanical failure and brake light issues. No matter what caused your accident to take place, if you have been hurt as a result of a rear-end accident, it is important that you act quickly to protect your legal rights.
