Neosho, MO (November 25, 2022) – A traffic accident was reported in Newton County on Wednesday evening that left one man injured. Calls for assistance were received at around 6:30 p.m. on November 23. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of the crash, which occurred on US Highway 60 at the intersection of Cemetery Road just east of Neosho, Missouri.
Preliminary investigations show that the driver of a 2009 Dodge Ram pickup truck failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2011 Ford E250 while making a left turn. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
A passenger in the forward, 27-year-old Eric Crouch of Monett, Missouri, was injured. Crouch was rendered aid on-site by medical personnel with the Newton County ambulance before being transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
