Nevada, MO – Two-Vehicle Crash on US-54 Leaves Two Injured

Nevada, MO (November 27, 2022) – A car wreck took place in Vernon County that left two men injured. At around 5:55 p.m., on November 24, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a traffic accident occurred on US Highway 55.

According to law enforcement, a 2009 BMW 328i crashed into the rear of a 1994 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck on US Highway 54 just 12 miles east of Nevada, Missouri. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash and had to be towed from the scene.

Two men suffered injuries due to the traffic accident. The victims were identified as 42-year-old Charles Pratts of Nevada, Missouri, and 55-year-old James Bennett of Nevada, Missouri. Both victims were transported to Nevada regional center in Nevada, Missouri, where they underwent further treatment for the injuries they suffered.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
