Peculiar, MO (November 16, 2022) – A young girl was left injured Tuesday morning after she was struck by a school bus in the Peculiar area. On November 15, the police and firefighters responded to a crash involving a school bus.
According to reports, a 5-year-old girl was struck by a bus and became pinned beneath it. A woman with her young child ran out to the bus and attempted to remove the girl. The bus driver exited the vehicle to survey the accident site, and then she backed up her vehicle to release the child from below.
The young girl suffered significant injuries in the crash. She was rushed to a local hospital, where she underwent emergency care.
