Pleasant Hill, MO (November 24, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in Cass County that sent a man and woman to area hospitals with significant injuries. On November 24, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash occurred on country club Drive.

According to reports, at around 12:55 a.m., the driver of a 2007 Chevrolet equinox failed to stop at a stop sign while passing through the intersection of country club Drive and Lexington Road. As a result, the vehicle entered the path of a 2017 Ford Explorer, causing the two vehicles to collide. Both vehicles came to rest, blocking the center of the roadway, causing delays in the area. The two vehicles were severely damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

The Pleasant Hill Police Department and Cass County deputies responded to the scene to provide assistance.

Two people in the Ford, 33-year-old Christopher Langsdale and 34-year-old Samantha Stoner, both suffered significant injuries. Both victims were transported by ambulance to Centerpoint Medical Center, where they underwent emergency care.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
