Raymore, MO (November 8, 2022) – A vehicle wreck occurred in Cass County that resulted in injuries, according to law enforcement. At around 7:30 a.m., on November 7, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a collision that occurred on Interstate 49.
Preliminary reports show that a 2016 Kawasaki ninja motorcycle and a 2019 Ford F1 50 pickup truck collided on the northbound side of Interstate 49. The crash caused delays in the area just south of North Cass Parkway. The motorcycle suffered significant damage in the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
The motorcyclist, 39-year-old Darryl Kelley of Blue Springs, Missouri, suffered serious injuries due to the crash. He was transported by South Metro EMS to Research Medical Center, where he underwent emergency treatment.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
