Reeds Spring, MO – Three Injured in Auto Accident on MO-13 near US-160

Reeds Spring, MO (November 26, 2022) – A traffic accident was reported in Stone County that left three people injured. On November 23, the Missouri State Highway Patrol received a request to provide care at the scene of a crash on Missouri State route 13.

Preliminary investigations show that at 1210 p.m., the driver of a 2020 Chevrolet Spark made a left turn into the path of a 2007 Ford Escape on Missouri State Route 13 at the intersection of US Highway 160. As a result, the two vehicles collided. The Chevrolet then slid down the roadway and crashed into a 2014 Ford Fusion. The crash blocked the road, causing delays in the area.

Three people suffered injuries in the crash. The victims were identified as a 12-year-old male, 21-year-old Callista Coates, and 35-year-old Kassandra Cooper. The three victims were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, for emergency care.

The crash is under investigation at this time.
