Springfield, MO (November 22, 2022) – A traffic accident took place on Monday afternoon that left at least one person injured. On November 21, emergency crews were notified that a crash had taken place on Interstate 44.
According to law enforcement, a collision between vehicles blocked the eastbound side of Interstate 44 near US Highway 65. Authorities responded to the scene of the crash at around 2:30 p.m. Emergency crews remained on the scene for approximately one hour before reopening the road.
Medics were called to the scene of the accident to provide treatment to one victim who suffered injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they underwent further care.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
