St Charles, MO (November 22, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in St. Charles that left one woman with significant injuries. At around 725 a.m., on November 21, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified that a crash occurred on Interstate 70.
According to law enforcement, a 2019 Chevrolet Cruz was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 in lane two. As the vehicle began to slow due to traffic ahead nearly 214-mile marker, the vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer. The Chevrolet was moderately damaged in the crash and had to be towed from the scene. The semi-truck continued forward without stopping.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 59-year-old Linda Roeder of Overland, Missouri, was moderately injured in the crash. She was transported to St. Joseph West hospital by St. Charles County ambulance, where she underwent emergency care.
The crash remains under investigation.
