St Francois, MO (November 6, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in St Francois that resulted in injuries. At around 4:55 p.m., on November 3, emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident on Missouri State Route 32.
According to reports, a 2006 Ford F150 pickup truck was traveling west on Missouri State Route 32. At the same time, a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling eastbound on the same roadway. For reasons unknown, the Ford crossed over the centerline and struck the Hyundai just south of Route B. The two vehicles were totaled in the accident after the Ford traveled off the roadway and overturned.
The driver of the Hyundai, 67-year-old Vickie Bircham of Park Hills, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. She was transported to Parkland Health Center South, where she underwent emergency treatment.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
