St Louis, MO (November 21, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in St. Louis on Saturday evening that left two people severely injured. At around 11:40 p.m., on November 19, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a traffic accident occurred on Interstate 70.
According to law enforcement, a 2014 Chevrolet Impala was involved in a crash on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 just west of Missouri State Route 141. As a result of the crash, the vehicle exited the roadway and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its roof in heavy brush near the intersection.
Two people suffered significant injuries in the crash. The victims were identified as 20-year-old Craig Ellis and 22-year-old Mikhiya Warren-Smith. Both victims were transported by ambulance to SSM Health Depaul Hospital, where they underwent emergency care.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is actively investigating the collision.
