St. Louis, MO (November 27, 2022) – A 16-year-old female was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash that occurred in the St. Louis area on Friday morning. Calls for help were received just after 10:45 a.m. on November 25.
According to reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2018 Honda CRV crashed into the rear of a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro on the northbound side of Interstate 270 just south of Missouri State Highway 100. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to strike the rear of a 2020 Nissan Rogue. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to continue forward and strike the right side of a 2010 Nissan Altima. The front of the Chevrolet then struck a 2010 Ford Escape. The Ford went off the right side of the roadway and struck a guard rail.
The 2010 Nissan Altima then continued forward out of control and rotated clockwise. The vehicle then struck a 2017 Cadillac Escalade. Several vehicles had to be towed from the scene of the accident due to the damage they suffered.
A 16-year-old female from St. Louis, Missouri, suffered injuries in the crash. She was transported to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, where she underwent emergency care.
The crash remains under investigation.
