Car Accidents in Missouri
Auto collisions can have a devastating impact on the lives of those involved. Unfortunately, countless people in our state are left with severe injuries following crashes every single day. In many cases, people are severely harmed as a result of rear-end accidents. These crashes are often caused by negligence.
Speeding is one of the most common factors in rear-end accidents. When drivers exceed the posted speed limit or drive too fast for conditions, they increase the chances of hitting the car in front of them. Running red lights is another dangerous behavior that can lead to rear-end collisions. Drivers who fail to stop at a red light put themselves and others at risk of serious injury or death.
Cell phones are another major distraction for drivers. Using a cell phone while behind the wheel decreases reaction time and increases the chances of being involved in an accident.
