Truck Accidents in Missouri

Steelville, MO – Edward Stockamp Injured in Truck Crash on Highway 8Being involved in a truck accident can leave you with severe and debilitating injuries. Unfortunately, truck accidents leave tens of thousands of people in the United States injured every single year. The majority of these accidents are caused by negligence. We see countless people suffer significant injuries due to drivers who are distracted, drowsy, or engaging in acts of negligence.

Driver fatigue is a common issue for truckers. Long hours on the road can take their toll, and many drivers end up driving when they’re tired. This can lead to them making mistakes, such as switching lanes without looking or not paying attention to their surroundings.

Distractions are another big problem for truckers. That’s why it’s so important for truckers to limit distractions as much as possible. Unfortunately, we see many truck accidents take place due to drivers who are using their cell phone, talking on CB radios, or eating while behind the wheel.

Switching lanes carelessly is also a leading cause of truck accidents. When changing lanes, truckers need to be extra careful and make sure they’re doing so safely. This means using turn signals, checking their mirrors, and looking over their shoulder before moving into another lane. Unfortunately, we see many truck drivers switch lanes in a reckless manner and cause severe accidents.
