West Plains, MO (November 11, 2022) – Authorities in Howell County responded to the scene of a traffic accident that left two women injured on Monday morning, November 7. At around 11:55 a.m., a crash was reported on Highway K in West Plains.
According to local officials, the driver of a 2006 Nissan Xterra turned in front of a 2004 GMC Yukon while traveling on the highway just two miles west of West Plains, Missouri. The two vehicles collided, leaving them both with moderate damage and requiring them to be towed.
Two people involved in the crash, 59-year-old Marilyn Heady and 69-year-old Becky Hansen, both suffered injuries. The two victims were transported to Ozarks Healthcare, where they underwent emergency treatment.
