Willard, MO (November 30, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Greene County on Monday evening that sent a 93-year-old woman to an area hospital with injuries. At around 5:05 p.m., on November 28, calls for assistance came in regarding a traffic crash that occurred on Route O.

According to law enforcement, a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu pulled into the path of a 2010 GMC Sierra on Route O just one-quarter of a mile east of Willard, Missouri. As a result, the vehicles suffered extensive damage due to colliding with one another. The victims had to be removed from the scene by a towing company.

A 93-year-old woman involved in the crash, Marjorie Shelton of Willard, Missouri, suffered injuries. Shelton was transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital, where she underwent emergency care.

The circumstances surrounding the traffic collision are under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol at this time.
