Car Accidents in Missouri

Archie, MO – Teen Injured in Two-Vehicle Wreck on Route B near Austin RdCrashes occur frequently in Missouri. In many instances, people who are involved in accidents are left with serious injuries. We see countless people hospitalized immediately following their accidents.

There are a number of reasons why we continue to see vehicle accidents in Missouri. One of the most common causes of these crashes is drivers who are distracted. Drivers who are distracted as a result of texting or talking on the phones, conversing with other people in the vehicle, or taking their attention off the road for other purposes are likely to cause severe crashes.

Speeding is another leading cause of crashes. Speed limits are in place for a reason, and speeding makes it more difficult for drivers to control their vehicles and react to sudden changes in traffic conditions.

Inattention is another major factor in auto collisions. Drivers who are not paying attention to the road are more likely to make mistakes that can lead to accidents. This can include everything from rubbernecking at an accident scene to simply not watching where you’re going.

Finally, weather conditions can also play a role in causing automobile accidents. Slick roads and low visibility can make it difficult for drivers to see what’s ahead of them and react in time to avoid an accident.
