Austin Township, MO – Tristan Hart Flown to Research Hospital Following Crash on Route B near I-49

Austin Township, MO (October 4, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in Cass County on Sunday evening that resulted in injuries. On October 2, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on Route B.

At around 7:20 p.m., a 2014 Ford overtook an Ariens riding mower while traveling on Route be just one mile east of Interstate 49. As a result, the Ford crashed into the back of the mower.

The rider on the mower was ejected from the vehicle. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the crash.

The victim was ejected. the injured driver, identified as 26-year-old Tristan Hart of Gower, Missouri, was seriously injured in the crash. Hart was transported by air ambulance to Research Hospital, where he underwent emergency treatment.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
