Bloomfield, MO (October 11, 2022) – Authorities responded to the site of a vehicle collision that took place in Stoddard County that left a man and woman injured. On October 9, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a collision occurred on Missouri State Route 25.
Preliminary investigations show that at around 6:55 p.m., a 2015 Dodge ram pickup truck failed to yield the right-of-way while traveling through the area of Missouri State Route 25 and Route Y. As a result, the Dodge collided with a 2018 Ford F150 pickup truck. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to the damage they suffered.
The driver of the Ford, 22-year-old Cody Vanpool, and his passenger, 21-year-old Dezeray Everett, were both injured in the crash. The two victims were transported by Stoddard County EMS to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for the treatment of injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
