Callaway, MO – Two-Vehicle Truck crash on US-45 near County Rd 209 Leaves One Woman Injured

Callaway, MO (October 4, 2022) – A 38-year-old woman from Jefferson City, Missouri, was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place in Callaway County. On October 3, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash took place on US Highway 54.

At around 11:37 a.m., a rear-end collision between a 2016 Toyota Camry and a 2021 Peterbilt 579 occurred on the eastbound side of US Highway 54 just east of County Road 209. Both vehicles were significantly damaged and had to be removed from the scene.

The driver of the Toyota, 38-year-old Sara Henry of Jefferson City, Missouri, was injured in the crash. Henry was transported to Capitol region Hospital, where she underwent treatment for her injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the collision at this time.
