Cassville, MO (October 30, 2022) – A 28-year-old man has died as a result of a truck accident that took place in Berry County. On October 27, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Missouri State Route 76.
At around 3:24 p.m., a 2008 Ford Taurus in a 2000 Freightliner collided on Missouri State Route 76, just five miles southeast of Cassville, Missouri. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the crash.
The driver of the Ford, 28-year-old Walter Hooper III of Cassville, Missouri, was fatally injured in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
