Clarence, MO (October 13, 2022) – A truck accident reported in Shelby County sent one man to an area hospital with severe injuries. On October 10, the Missouri State Highway Patrol received a request to provide assistance on-site at a traffic collision on Shelby County Road 302.
At around 545 p.m., a 2000 Nissan Maxima and a 2003 Kenworth tractor-trailer collided on Shelby County Road 302 just half of a mile west of Clarence, Missouri. The two vehicles collided head-on, leaving both vehicles with severe damage.
The driver of the Nissan, 39-year-old Anthony Allen of Atlanta, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Salt River ambulance transported the man to Northeast Regional Medical Center, where he underwent emergency care.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
