Dexter, MO – Corey Martinez & Lauren Neuhaus Injured in Three-Vehicle Truck Wreck on MO-25

Dexter, MO (October 26, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in Stoddard County that left two people with significant injuries. On October 23, at around 6:45 p.m., emergency crews were notified that a crash occurred on Missouri State Route 25.

According to local law enforcement, a 2011 Mazda 3 and a 1994 Suzuki Samurai were both stopped in traffic at a fire scene on Missouri State Route 25 just two miles south of Dexter, Missouri. The driver of a 2014 Peterbilt crane failed to yield and struck both vehicles. The impact of the crash caused the Mazda to strike a pedestrian in the area.

The driver of the Mazda, 33-year-old Lauren Neuhaus, and the pedestrian, 24-year-old Corey Martinez, were both significantly injured in the crash. Neuhaus was transported by Air Evac to St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, for the treatment of serious injuries. Martinez was transported by ambulance to the southeast health of Stoddard County and Dexter, Missouri, where he was treated for moderate injuries.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
